In May 2015, I started a new position as Director of Inpatient Psychiatric Services for Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. I’m still there today and today it still occupies as much of my life, if not more, than when I started. Unfortunately, with starting this new role, moving, and making the choice to get healthy again, Kelley360 got dropped. A friend contacted me the other day, though, after going through his old emails or LinkedIn messages (I can’t recall which) and reached out to me asking me about my blog. I told him the same thing I’m telling you here, but by the end of my response to him, I had concluded that I was embarrassed about letting this go and I humbly thanked him for spotlighting my failure. HA HA HA I want to thank him again, here, for kicking me in the pants and reminding me that I am a pretty good writer, with a lot of experience and insight into healthcare, and that I should take some time to share my knowledge and impressions in an entertaining, thoughtful and (mostly) empirical manner. So, if anyone is picking this up, I am open for topic suggestions. And in the meantime, while my daughter travel to Rochester, New York this week, I will make some notes for new topics of my own. So welcome back to me and my audience!
